Istvan Kantor / 1956
neoist (re)mixed-media and sculptural works on woodpanel, canvas and broken
furniture + opening performance event
I designed this exhibition/installation/performance according to the ideas that are/were
the most important in my current life events always involving sex, neoism and revolution not only as hysterical background for my(re)mixed-media images but as the principal territories for survival under the oppressive conditions of hyper-totalitarian society. This exhibition is a tribute to the beautiful ruins and the immortal spirit of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
Opening riot at6 o'clock (it's always 6 o'clock!)
