What I am trying to capture in my art at the moment is honesty and integrity. I would like there to be a sign of the struggle involved in painting- the struggle to capture emotion and passion-in each little movement of the brush.
Ultimately I feel that art is about energy and constant change. My enjoyment is in the process, when something totally unexpected happens and a painting takes on a life of its own. What was intended no longer matters. Explanations become superfluous.
